By creating your profile on Cherrydeck, you have a chance to showcase your work to brands, agencies, and people who are interested in hiring photographers and videographers as well as to other creative fellows who might be looking for collaborations or inspiration.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n The search results are ranked based on content quality, commercial fit, and engagement on Cherrydeck. Therefore, any interaction with your profile such as views, saves, or clicks on one of your Cherrylink links, will all add to your ranking score.<\/span><\/p>\n To rank high in search results, make sure your Cherrydeck portfolio is updated with your latest work, and that you can fulfill potential customer requests. Try sharing your profile on social media or with friends, make sure your Cherrylink is set up and included in your Instagram bio, and encourage other people to save your profile.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n In your profile, you have an ‘ADD+’ button. If you click on it, you will be able to choose new content for your profile from your disk, Vimeo or Youtube. If you would like to group your content by topics (i.e. Product Photography, Wedding Photography, etc.) consider creating a Gallery.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n A Gallery on your Cherrydeck portfolio is a way of presenting all your work related to a specific topic, shoot, or project. You can create both private and public Galleries, and add a short description. To publicly show a Gallery on your profile toggle the ‘public’ switch.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n Check out if you fulfilled all the requirements, for example: if you uploaded at least 8 photos.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n To fully delete your Cherrydeck account, go to your Settings page and click the ‘delete my account’ link. It might take a few weeks until Google and other search engines have removed your images from cache, so they might still show up in image search there.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\n\n\n\n Cherrylink is a marketing tool to help you showcase all your relevant work in your Instagram profile through one simple link.<\/span><\/p>\n While Instagram now allows you to add up to 5 links, Cherrylink allows you to create a clickable and customizable menu of all the places your work is being displayed, reachable through a single link in your Instagram bio.<\/span><\/p>\n You can find it in your marketing toolbox.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\n\n\n\n To message a photographer on Cherrydeck, you must simply click the ‘CONTACT’ button on their profile.<\/p>\n If you are a first time user attempting to contact a photographer, you will see a popup with two options: contacting Cherrydeck or messaging directly. Click on ‘Signup to message individually’ to be able to send a direct message to your desired photographer.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n While you cannot delete specific messages, you can delete entire conversations. To do this,\u00a0 click on the ‘Delete’ button on the top right corner of a conversation. You can report inappropriate messages by clicking the ‘Report’ button in the top right corner of a conversation, and providing an optional reason. Two actions are available: Report<\/strong> (flags the conversation for review) or Report & Block<\/strong> (flags for review and prevents future contact).<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n Both brands and photographers with an active Cherrydeck account can send messages through the platform when they find someone they want to work with.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n Yes. You\u2019ll receive an in-platform notification as well as an email with a preview of the message and a link to reply, so you don\u2019t miss any inquiries.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n Our messaging system follows a content policy and includes moderation measures to help prevent spam and scams. If your message was rejected, you will receive an email explaining the rejection and how you can try again.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n To help prevent spam and protect users, contact information cannot be shared in the first message. Both participants need to exchange at least one message before contact details can be shared.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\n\n\n\n You need to show us your best content, keep your portfolio up to date so we can see your new work as well! Our Editorial and Social Team hand-picks the photographers and videographers we feature. As a Full Member, you have the chance to ‘nudge’ us to take a look at your content. <\/span><\/p>\n Once we feature you, you will be notified by email and likely via Instagram as well.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n We work together with carefully selected customers of all sizes to regularly make creative opportunities available. These can be projects where a client is looking for a photographer or videographer but also exclusive community events, or collaboration requests.<\/p>\n Applications are generally open for all Cherrydeck members, however, certain opportunities may only allow Full Membership applications.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n You can apply to open calls in the opportunities section on Cherrydeck. In the application, please make sure to read the questions carefully and provide a portfolio of relevant work for the opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n Once the application deadline is reached, we send a shortlist of the best portfolios to the customer, who can then reach out to the professional they would like to work with.<\/span><\/p>\n You will be notified if you have been selected by the customer.<\/span><\/p>\n Note: For Cherrydeck Branded Stock\u2122 opportunities the process is different. Those opportunities that are only available to full members will have a ‘Full Membership’ badge.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n We feature users on the blog for different purposes. In general, to get featured on our blog, you should keep your portfolio updated so our Editorial Team can scout your work when it fits different editorial articles. For our Project Spotlight features<\/a>, you need to have an interesting story to tell, and provide good images of what you documented. Take a look at our blog posts to get an understanding of what kind of content we are looking for \ud83d\ude09 If you think you have something that fits, you can submit work via your account’s Toolbox.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n Cherrydeck is a discovery and connection platform, not a booking platform. We do not facilitate the booking of photographers, videographers, and models. We simply provide a list of applications to the customer.<\/p>\n It is then up to the customer to contact whoever they would like to work with out of the applications. We encourage each customer to notify every applicant whether or not they have been chosen for the job, but we are unable to enforce them to do so. You will know that you got selected by the customer once they send you an email.<\/p>\n Note: For Branded Stock\u2122 opportunities the process is different. While we encourage every customer to notify all of the applicants of whether they were selected for the job, we cannot guarantee that all of them do.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\n\n\n\n To change the Instagram account connected to your Cherrydeck account, you need to be logged into Cherrydeck. From your profile, click on ‘ADD+’ and then on ‘Import from Instagram’. Suppose you were previously connected with an Instagram business\/creator account, and are now connected as a personal account. In that case, we show the follower number we still have on file for your account. Under the ‘Apps and Websites’ tab you will see all your connected links, including Cherrydeck.
