In this week’s Project Spotlight Halloween Special, we invite you to dive in and see the cold and lonely universe of Bogdan Botofe<\/a>. Get to know ‘Silence’.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bogdan’s<\/a> photo series, ‘Silence’, is a reflection of the cold and lonely universe in which the sense of sight was overtaken by touch. Where not everything has to be seen in order for it to be experienced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although, at initial glance it may appear that the world created in ‘Silence’ is dark, a type of human calm is evident in each character. It was with this switch in perspectives that Bogdan depicted the upcoming holiday, Halloween.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cold and lonely universe is captured and depicted to almost resemble a painting. Here, the viewer is invited to take a moment and think about what is being presented. The overall appearance and tones used add to the feeling of a chilling world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bogdan Botofei<\/a> is a Fine Arts photographer based in Bucharest, Romania. He has been a professional photographer for more than 10 years, and is currently in the midst of growing his own business, a small production company called FOTOPUNCT. Having worked both nationally and internationally, his portfolio is filled with commercial shoots, fine art photography, conceptual and experimental photography, and creative video projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
