In the course of this month, we challenged our photographers to share their perspective of what love means to them<\/em>. Along with a feature of their work, we are now enfolding their innermost thoughts in time for Valentine’s Day.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

As clich\u00e9 as it may sound, this Valentine’s Day we wanted to share the most personal thoughts our photographers had on the topic of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the last couple of months, through the impact of Covid-19 many have realized that the loving relationship between two people is special and should not be taken for granted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the Cherrydeck Editorial Team would like to share the quotes accumulated over the last couple of weeks circling around the question \u2014 What Does Love Mean to You?<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As love can be demonstrated in many different ways, the team has collected a versatile collection of photos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally from Norway, Daniel<\/a> is currently based in Los Angeles. His photography reflects portrait and lifestyle photography, often times integrating vibrant colours schemes. His quote on love is inspired by the ways you can say ‘I love you’ in Norwegian. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Norwegian we separate between \u00abJeg er glad i deg\u00bb and \u00abJeg elsker deg\u00bb. They both mean I love you, but \u00abJeg elsker deg\u00bb is more special and deep, and you don\u2019t just say it to anyone. I remember explaining it to my Californian boyfriend once. <\/p>

Love for me is about the desire to be there for the person I love, no matter what happens, through good and bad. It\u2019s the feeling that I strongly feel inside when I think about him, no matter how far away physically we might be from each other. At times we\u2019ve been more than 5000 miles apart, but I\u2019ve still felt this feeling we all call love in my heart. <\/p>

While I was explaining how Norwegians dedicate their love to each other, I realized that I don\u2019t just love him, \u00abJeg elsker\u00bb him.  <\/p>Daniel Mareno<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I think that after some years I have finally understood that love is much more simple that what I’ve always though it was. For me love means the ability to feel in peace and calm with yourself, your environment and with those you share your life with. The coziness feeling I have when I feel safe and completely happy, that\u2019s what love means to me. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
