The assignment <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This Spring, ABOUT YOU<\/a>, was keen on producing video content for their famous ABOUT YOU Awards and promote their cooperation with Nike’s “Find Your Fast” campaign. Featuring influencer Maren Schiller, the goal was to produce a 30-second film with her perspective on what it takes to find your own pace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clip was required to be shot exclusively on iPhone and in portrait format for maximum adaption to mobile screens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeking to honor influential social media personalities, the final film was to be shown at the ABOUT YOU Awards \u2014 presented annually and hosted by the German online fashion distributor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The process<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

ABOUT YOU collaborated with Cherrydeck to find talent to produce video content for the “Find Your Fast” campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through submitting a briefing \u2014 where the shooting location, budget, and other requirements were specified \u2014 ABOUT YOU opened a job opportunity on Cherrydeck<\/a>, for which interested Cherrydeck members could apply with their profile and portfolio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kasia Rycerska<\/a> and Milana Murzo<\/a> from nobodyreadsthetext_<\/a> were the talents selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

With the fast-approaching ABOUT YOU Award, the schedule was tight. Kasia and Milana were given a day to brainstorm a pitch and had a week to create the storyboard and any pre-production efforts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timeframe for the job included one day of filming, followed by three days for editing, sound design, special effects, and final feedback loops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
