Many are the ones who aren&#8217;t even able to talk about it. But <a href=\"https:\/\/cherrydeck.com\/margauxcorda\">Margaux Corda<\/a> found a way to express her grief and emotions without having to choose the right words for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Language is limited when it comes to expressing the sophistication of grief.<\/p><cite><a href=\"https:\/\/cherrydeck.com\/margauxcorda\">Margaux Corda<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cherrydeck.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/portraitdefamille_4-2.jpg?resize=383%2C536&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5610\" width=\"383\" height=\"536\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cherrydeck.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/portraitdefamille_4-2.jpg?w=500&amp;ssl=1 500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cherrydeck.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/portraitdefamille_4-2.jpg?resize=215%2C300&amp;ssl=1 215w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 383px) 100vw, 383px\" \/><figcaption><em>Fantasma Inheritance<\/em> by <a href=\"https:\/\/cherrydeck.com\/margauxcorda\">Margaux Corda<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this series of photographs, <a href=\"https:\/\/cherrydeck.com\/margauxcorda\">Margaux<\/a> recreates memories of her mother who passed away in 2016. By photographing her jewellery and using light to demonstrate the depth of their relationship, she conveys the family\u2019s physical and genetic legacy and relives some of the memories created through the assets inherited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Using this play of light and reflection in my photos, I feel they represent the metaphor of memory and death. Currently, she works as a freelancer and juggles between Lausanne and Paris.
