The assignment<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Equality Fragrances<\/a> was looking to film the brand’s launch movie. The content was used to be used on the perfume’s launch event, social media, and is now available on the website too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The assignment was to make a short film that would work as a commercial but also as an image film for the new lifestyle and perfume brand. The film was supposed to show what Equality stands for and what the customer is telling the world by choosing the brand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The process<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In order to find the best creative, Equality Fragrances collaborated with Cherrydeck. By publishing a job opportunity<\/a> they were able to catch the attention of videographers interested in working with the brand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jan-Philip Beutin<\/a> was the videographer chosen to capture the launch video. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Two days later after Equliaty Fragrances made the decision of who to work with, they had the first meeting. Here they started preparing for the shooting days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We instantly had a good vibe and I loved the brand, the idea, and the whole project. <\/p>Jan-Philip Beutin<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

After talking with Lukas, one of the founders of Equality, Jan-Philip got a better understanding of what the job entailed. He captured the aim of showing many different characters dealing with different situations, backgrounds and feelings. Some struggling, some happy, some depressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim was to present and generate a lot of emotions that people could relate to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand provided him a series of mood-films, and descriptions of shooting style, format, colours, rhythm, and angles that they were aiming to get. Afterwards, Jan had the freedom to do his work behind the camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the launch of the fragrance was only one month away, the working pace was fast and the collaboration between the videographer and the brand was very constant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final outcome was then presented on the brand’s launch event and is now accessible to everyone on its social media channels and on the website, here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jan-Philip enjoyed working on the project. Having direct contact to the founders helped him in better understand what the aim and requirements of the job were. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
