Flavia castorina

Flavia Castorina is a freelance commercial and editorial photographer based in Rome. Her strength is flexibility, and her work ranges from still life to graphic design, from fashion to portraiture. Her knowledge of the use of light at its full potential and her constant research in the field of digital photography and editing over the years have established her as a true professional . This took shape in collaboration with major Italian and international agencies such as Eolo Perfido Studio, Daniele Fiore Studio, Valeria Santoni studio, Derlab, Enel,Lavazza, Casio, Compagnia Italiana, Kate l'altraModa, Fendi, News, Micro Gallery, Officine Grafiche Decò, Gambero Rosso, TedX, Festival del Verde, Martina Attili live show. She worked as graphic designer, scenographer assistant and junior VFX in italian and foreign advertising campaigns and movies, collaborating with Panorama, Lotus Production, Metaphyx. Beside personal one man exhibition , she participated in various collective shows as well. Helped by her family, themselves involved in the art and cinema world, she has always been keen on photography, studying and research, she became a determined, open minded photographer always looking for new perspectives. A pronounced sensitivity is clearly visible in her work . Her photographic approach could be described natural and discreet Her greatest gift is the empathy one can perceive between the subject and her aesthetic sense. Flavia, 26 years, graduated at Liceo Artistico Giorgio de Chirico in Rome, then moved to London to attend a two-years VfX compositing course at Escape Studios and also graduated in photography at Saint Martin University. She then frequented a three year course at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia, obtaining a Master Degree. Furthermore she attended a Home Staging course.
