We are excited to launch the Cherrydeck Creators Award, our way to give back to the community and reward amazing talent in difficult times.
There is so much good talent out there that is now locked and restrained and such a great amount of good work that is waiting for its moment under the spotlight, that in these special times, we feel it’s our responsibility to act and support the creative community.
So today we launch the Cherrydeck Creators Award! This is our way to give back to all the outstanding creators that trusted us from day one and made our community so special. We want to reward great creative concepts and all of the inspiring creative minds behind them.
With the Creators Award we challenge you to submit a work within the theme “Togetherness”. Whether it’s an image with a strong sense of community, the perfect depiction of physical contact, or a capture of friendship, we want to see works that bring us together in these times where we need to stay apart.
The best entries will be announced on April 30 on our blog and the community will then be able to vote for the Top 4 winners.
The four winning creators will be announced on May 7 and will be awarded with a final cash prize of €1 000, €300, €200, and €100 respectively. In addition, we will write a full piece about the selected profiles and publish it across all of our channels.
The deadline for submissions is April 20, at midnight CET. If you wish to apply to the Cherrydeck Creators Award, visit this page and submit your work.
The application process is easy, but only Cherrydeck members can apply to the competition. If you are not a member yet, you can apply to our network here.
We’re looking forward to receiving all of the applications!
We’ve also put together a list of advice on how to get alternative income sources as a creator in times of crisis. Have a look and add your suggestions in the comments, if you have some.
If you are a brand and have a project you want to kick-start in a few months, reach out and support us supporting the creative industry. ?
