Finding harmony in the skyscrapers standing throughout Hong Kong, Ekaterina Busygina sees a sense of reflection and character aspirations in the high standing buildings.

Ekaterina’s photo series, “Kaleidoscope on the 8 Hills”, is set in Hong Kong and illustrates the quaint city of skyscrapers.

The photographer believes the skyscrapers enforce a new look on the city, strongly encouraged by the perspectives in which you see them. Though bustling Hong Kong is always in a hurry, the skyscrapers act as its silent guards.

With “Kaleidoscope on the 8 Hills”, Ekaterina welcomes its audience to remember the importance of taking things slow and embracing your surroundings. So much beauty is missed when you just walk by — it is as easy as looking up that new dimensions and perspectives are released.

…by staying for a second and then lifting the sight up, you’ll see the sun from another world

Ekaterina Busygina

This new world the photographer refers to, is one that is made up of geometry, architectural harmony, and pure perfection. When looking at the images, the calming harmony reflecting from the sky is clearly seen.
