The Polestar 2 model range expands to three versions, and even though they have slightly different contents, they still tell the same story: one of pure, progressive performance.

The Polestar 2 is an award-winning all-electric fastback designed to provide a unique, intuitive experience. If you were already convinced by its futuristic and clean design, now you can tailor this beautiful all-electric power machine to one of three versions according to your taste and needs.

The Polestar 2

Each version of Polestar 2 comes with overarching features in a perfect symbiosis of form and function. The model range comes with 19-inch wheels, signature LED light designs front and rear, and the already characteristic frameless mirrors.

The embossed textile upholstery is fully vegan and features a distinctive pattern that matches a new set of 3D-etched décor panels. High performance audio with 8 speakers, front- and rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera are also standards in Polestar 2.

The true differentiators

Powertrains

Polestar 2 can now feature three powertrains. The existing 300 kW (408 hp) dual motor setup with a large 78-kWh battery pack is still available. However, it has now two additional front-mounted single motor options — available either with the same long-range battery and a 170-kW motor, or a standard-range battery (64 kWh) and a 165-kW motor.

Feature packs

Secondly, three optional feature packs were added. For the long-range dual motor configuration of the Polestar 2, there can be included adjustable Öhlins dampers, Brembo brakes, forged 20-inch alloy wheels, and signature “Swedish gold” interior and exterior details.

Plus and Pilot packs

The Plus and Pilot packs, which were standard in the launch version, are also now optional.

The Plus Pack including extra premium features such as:

  • a full-length panoramic glass roof
  • a 13-speaker Harman Kardon audio system
  • heated steering wheel
  • heated front and rear seats and wipers
  • Black Ash deco panels
  • award-winning vegan WeaveTech upholstery
  • and a new heat pump.

And the Pilot Pack expanding the suite of safety attributes:

  • Pixel LED headlights with LED front fog lights
  • Driver Assistance with Adaptive Cruise Control and Pilot Assist
  • a 360° camera
  • parking sensors
  • Driver Awareness including Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with steering support
  • Cross Traffic Alert with brake support
  • and Rear Collision Warning

From now on, Polestar 2 might slightly differ in terms of contents, but one thing will remain the same: the pure, progressive performance.
