Abel Paredes

Abel Paredes was born and raised just in Havana downtown. His love affair with the camera started early—At the age of 11, he bought his first camera and his first reel of photos with a little money that he have received from his family, of course hidden from his parents that would never allow him to spend that money on something related to art, because for them what really mattered was being an Engineer, Doctor or Lawyer.— And that was what he did, became a Lawyer, but the passion for photography never died at all. So years later, when he decided to move to Madrid he took back his passion hidden for years and he started to study Photography as Professional career in WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE Photography School in Madrid. During that time he also started to work as a Wedding Photographer Assistant in CESAR JACOB’s company. Five year later, he decided to continue alone, now with a strong professional training and with 4 year experience in weddings, social photographies, beauties portraits and fashion editorials for different local fashion magazines and he found Abel Paredes photographer, a company that everyday try to make true the dream of that cuban child and that today has become his greatest passion.
