Belle Simpson

I'm a photographer from Australia by way of London, and what started out as a hobby has now become my chosen path in life. It started with a fascination watching my mother with her prized camera and her beautiful photos. I was hooked, I needed to know more; I loved this idea of a moment, a feeling, caught in time. When I got my first point and shoot camera, I began shooting landscapes, things that caught my eye, friends, family and everything in between. I strongly believe that the best way to communicate your brand or idea is by being authentically you, that is what I aim to show; the real you. No big fake lights or awkward flashes, I want to shoot you wherever you are comfortable. Introvert or extrovert, I always aim to bring your true self to the camera lens. I want to get to know you and create something authentic that we are both proud of. A seasoned traveller, I’ve visited much of Latin America and loved everywhere from the Bazaars of Morocco to the plantations of Sri Lanka and plenty in-between. I have documented every moment, not on a smartphone but on a digital or film camera. What can I say, there are parts of me that will always be old-school. Now, having lived in Barcelona for five years, I continue my exploring whilst living in this photographers dream of a city. My background is portrait and lifestyle photography, but I have a wealth of experience in both studio and product photography, too.
