Emily June Smith is a Cornwall-based photographer born and raised in Romford. Smith works primarily with film and specialises in fine art, editorial, documentary work and portraiture Being neurodivergent, Smith uses the photographic medium to better understand the everyday and to make sense of life around her. 'Finally embracing who I am after years of struggling with myself has allowed me to see that I view the world in a way that is both beautiful and confusing at the same time. I use my emotions to help push my art, rather than be ashamed of them.'
