Rob Chamber was born 1986 in Lutherstadt Wittenberg and is now living and working as a freelance photographer and media designer based in Berlin, Germany, while finishing his studies in Print- and Media Technology (B. Eng.). "When I shot my first nude project in 2016 it instantly turned me a passionate photographer. After almost 3 years of practice I am currently transitioning from simple studio snapshots to more extensive conceptual works. I seek to work with a wide range of independent international artists from various fields of art, dance, perfomance, music, jewelry and especially fashion design." The themes Rob ≠ Chamber is inspired by are of sensual aesthetic across various genres, however the fascination for pictures with unsettling appeal and the love for everything that is unconventional and extraordinary is always present. The current style is mainly shaped by personal experience aswell as creative resistance against the Status Quo. The works often share a reoccuring ambivalence of contrasting emotions, ideas and symbols. I intend to further develop this style, while keeping the original concept alive.
