I was born in Chișinău, Moldova. When I was fourteen, my family and I moved to Padua, Italy. It was at this crucial moment in my life that I picked up a camera. In the beginning, it was just a way of overcoming the language barrier. I quickly fell in love with my new city, and later documented its beauty under the affectionate name "Dear Padua".
In my photography I put the spotlight on the mundane, everyday life that seems magical for a fleeting moment, like being in a dream. My way of achieving this is by always having an attentive eye and mastering the use of colours and light.
I have recently moved to Sheffield, UK, where I live with my husband William and our cat Rey. I'm looking forward to discovering the city through pictures yet again.
