Martina Alice Tolotti is a Berlin based architect and photographer born in Milan.
She has studied at Politecnico di Milano in Italy, at Bauhaus Universität in Germany and at University of Cape Town in South Africa; now she holds a Master of Science in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano.
During her studies she has started to photograph due to a need of an expansion of her perception of time and places and a different analytical tool to distill reality.
Her work started with architecture and is now expanding to portraitures and reportage while investigating the "liasons" between the natural and the anthropized, the composition in architecture and the one in photography.
Basic equipment: a Nikon D90 with a 50mm fixed lens.
