Andrew Curry

Andrew Curry is best known for the way he captures his subjects, in their natural surroundings, in a quiet, often reflective and melancholic manner. His use of color, composition, and emotion drive his visual style. A lifelong skateboarder who grew up in a beach town in Florida, USA, Andrew believes his involvement in the sport helped him develop his eye for photography. "Skateboarders", he says, "are constantly scanning their environment for objects to re-appropriate and make their own, always asking themselves about the potential that exists in this spot or that.
