Aaron Yeandle has exhibited nationally and internationally. His education includes a B.A (Hones) in Photography, M.A in Fine Art and a PGCE. He has taught and delivered, workshops and masterclasses on photography and on his own photographic practice. Aaron was the winner of The Guardians Britain Is Competition, with the photograph, The Western Ranger. He has completed four Artist-in-Residencies which were all exhibited. Aaron works mainly on long term social projects. He also exhibited at the 2016 Guernsey International Photographic Festival. In 2019 He exhibited a large-scale project named Chimera. The Photographic project Chimera was an anthropological, social and historical observation. Which delves into the unseen world of Guernsey’s community of make-believe, history and fantasy. He finished his fourth Arts Residency for the International Gibraltar Island Games. He was one of the winners of the 2019 Reclaim Awards. Aaron has been commissioned for the last two years to photograph the last Guernsey people of their endangered language named Voice-Vouaie. He has photographed over 100 people for this social and historical project. The Vouiae project will go on tour in 2021.
