Alessandro Toscano

I'am an italian photographer based in Milano, Italy. I'm graduated in Communication Science at the Sapienza University of Rome, at the same time as my personal research, i dedicated myself to documentary and editorial photography. In October 2009, i founded OnOff Picture Photo Agency, which worked with major Italian and international publications including The Financial Times, Newsweek, International Herald Tribune, The Guardian, Stern, Der Spiegel, Le Monde, Le Parisien, Liberation, Wired, L’Espresso, D di Repubblica, Io Donna, Internazionale, and i was active as both as director and photographer. I'm the winner of the Fundación Ankaria award / PHotoEspaña Descubrimientos Prize awarded by the Real Academia de España, finalist in the Francesco Fabbri Prize for Contemporary Arts, the Combat Prize Prize and the Call Abitare organized by Mufoco and the Milano Triennale.
