Anders Holst was born in Copenhagen in 1997. Having recently completed a bachelors degree in Photojournalism from the Danish School of Media in Aarhus. During his education he had his internship at danish paper Politiken, where he had the opportunity to document various aspects of society and culture, gaining valuable experience in capturing moments that convey both complexity and beauty in stories. He is always passionate about delivering visually insightful and thought-provoking images that engage readers. As off lately he has been using the last half year to establish himself as a freelance-photojournalist working with and for danish newspapers, journals and associations etc. Anders believes that In times where the truth of photography and journalism is more threatened than ever it is of the utmost importance that journalistic storytellers work even harder in trying to maintain the respect that has belonged to the photojournalistic field for decades. Therefore he hopes that his stories can contribute to strengthen the readers trust by telling the stories on the ground, inside the houses and through the people.
