I was born in 1989 into a family of artists. My father is a famous fashion photographer, my mother is an architect and together they had a publishing house, my grandmother is a painter. I have always lived surrounded by art, photography, video and graphics. Since I was a child I have loved to observe. I used to watch other children running, playing, expressing themselves. Somehow, I didn't feel as part of them, but I liked to capture their essence through my eyes. I grew up, but with the same look, distant and at the same time curious. The eye with which I observe the enchanted world has though changed. Since 2009 I have been creating photos, videos, graphics and texts to capture the authenticity of inner expression, to create both memories and contents for companies, some of which are very well-known. When you try to get to know someone so deeply, you learn to love them for what they are, and want everyone to discover their uniqueness. I still find rest in distances, in the beauty of urban and natural landscapes, and in travels that are the other constant in my life. The camera should not only capture moments of beauty, crystallizing them forever, but should also arouse emotions and lead to reflect. I love always learning something new, one can never know where their passions will take them. I help companies to tell their own brand stories more effectively, and I am interested in conscious business, having founded the company Domus Vestae LLC in the United States, but also in still photography, graphic design, translation, trading and much more. A multipotential, in short. Graduated as director of photography at the Academy of Cinema and Television of Cinecittà, Italy, with authoritative professionals of the field, including legendary director Carlo Lizzani (“Chronicle of Poor Lovers”, “Attention! Bandits!”) and several winners of the prestigious David di Donatello award, I also studied with the award-winning editor Marco Spoletini (“Gomorrah”, “Tale of Tales”) and the Oscar-nominated director of photography Stuart Dryburgh (“The Piano”, “Through the looking glass”). I started working in 2003 as a documentary editor, and since 2009 I have worked in several films, documentaries, commercials and more than 35 short films mainly in the camera department, collaborating with important Italian and international directors and cinematographers, including Simona Izzo, Riccardo Ferrero, Franco Brogi Taviani, Ettore Florio, Augusto Zucchi, Bruno Cascio, Gino Sgreva, Daniele Ciprì, Pino Pinori, Giovanni Canevari. I have also collaborated with Shell and PISAI Pontificio Istituto di Studi Arabi e d'Islamistica. For some time, I have been dedicating myself to another passion that I have had since I was a child, archaeology, which I study at "Sapienza" University of Rome, with high university grades and important internships and partnerships. Fascinated since childhood by history and archaeology, I chose to tell stories with my camera, combining my two great passions, to arouse emotions, lead to reflect, raise awareness.
