Carlo Bevilacqua

Photographer and filmmaker born in Palermo in 1961. I live in Milan and working with periodicals, publishing houses and communication agencies with which I create photos and videos both for publishing and for important Italian and international companies. My reportage are mainly distributed by the Parallelozero photo agency. My works was awarded at the Tokyo International Foto Awards, got Honorable Mention at the International Photographic Award, at the Moscow International Foto Awards, at the American Photo Awards, at the Tau Visual Professional Prize, won HF prize at the SI Fest Savignano Immagini and was selected in various international awards of photography as Taylor Wessing Prize or Ponchielli GRIN Prize I taught photography at the Politecnico di Milano in the Italian headquarters of the FIT - Fashion Institute of Technology Of New York. I directed several documentaries including Moira Orfei Amore e Fiori and Little Red Robin Hood biographical documentary about Soft Machine singer and drummer Robert Wyatt, with the participation of Elvis Costello, Brian Eno, Phil Manzanera and Nick Mason (drummer of Pink Floyd ), Or Big Sister Because of You, on the work of the Czech photographer Hana Jakrlova on a telematic brothel in Prague.
