Hello, hola, salaam! My name is Carmen and I am a Spanish-Iranian photographer, videographer & visual artist with a fine art and commercial background currently based between Barcelona & NY. Driven by that texture of identity, culture, and upbringing, my work brings art and commerce together in a rich and exciting way, always with a sharp visual intuition and pulse on what's to come. Through my unique experiences and reference points, I approach editorial storytelling and reimagine it with a bold sensibility of color, surreal playfulness, and mixed media. Using collage, object, personal history, and writing, I look to thoughtfully create a poetic, energized, and cathartic space from which to infuse my clients and collaborators with the possibility of their own empowerment and new vision fantasy. My work spans the arenas of editorial, video, music, fine art, fashion, and reportage.
