Chris Proctor is Portrait & Editorial Photographer originating from Newcastle, UK. He originally trained as a Joiner but after completing training found he could not get work because of the 2008 recession. He, on a whim veered into photography and ended up studying at Kingston Uni, he balanced his time serving as a Photographic Assistant to Commercial, Editorial and Fashion Photographers. After 5 years time served he became a photographer in his own right and has now been living and working in London for 10 years and shoots for a range of his own editorial clients. This has included The LA Times, The Guardian, The Times WWD, Sunday Creates, INK; EasyJet, Brussels Airlines, The BBC, C4 and others. He is currently working on a new personal project and currently lives in the Kentish Town area with his two Whippets.
