Daniel Yonekubo is a Brazilian photographer who appropriates photography as a producer of feelings. Feelings such as anguish, pain, and helplessness are common to be portrayed in his works from past and present experiences. His research is developed in the field of Fine Art Photography, where he seeks, through pictorial portraits, to show the beauty that goes beyond the ordinary look. Visually, his artwork is inspired by authors of the Pictorialist Movement and features nuances of works by Renaissance, Baroque and Dutch authors. Using only natural light, he accentuates the contrast of light and shadow, so that the protagonist of the image is the center, building the dense atmosphere that contributes to his narrative. Self-taught, he began his experience in photography as a hobby that was gaining space and today is the backbone of a career in Visual Arts. For him, the image has the power to evoke multiple sensations in each individual and therefore seeks to portray them in a crude and poetic way, thus working their inspirations and concerns. In 2018, he participated in his first collective exhibition held at MISC (Museum of Sound and Image of Cuiabá), and from this point forward his career has been honored by having his artwork accepted on digital platforms, such as Iconic Artist and PhotoVogue. In April 2019 she was selected in the second edition of 1340Art magazine.
