Dennis Polman was originally a painter. His paintwork is very expressive and contains many vibrant colors. The starting points of his work as a painter form the basis of his way of photography. This resulted in original and inspiring compositions and a lot of use of color in his photos. Dennis has grown into a professional photographer and works under the Dennisart Photography label. Dennis: “In my period as a painter, I was professionally active in the areas of Marketing and Public Relations. I followed all relevant training courses in the field of digital image editing and edited the photos of all the hired photographers. In retrospect, it appears to have been a good order for me to first master image editing using Photoshop and Lightroom and only then to start photographing. As a result, I already take post-processing into account when taking the photos, which saves time and, by definition, ensures a better end result. You can see this in my photos. I made photography my own. Of course by just taking the camera on the road, but also by reading a lot of professional literature. Dennis mainly photographs in the Netherlands, where he shows the most beautiful places. As a professional photographer, Dennis gives workshops. He gets a lot of satisfaction from sharing knowledge and inspiring others for the beautiful photography profession. The idea that there is always room for improvement is his drive to remain innovative and creative.
