Events | Business & Corporate

Hey there! I’m Dominik Türk, a photo- and videographer from Stuttgart. My love affair with cameras started on my very first holidays, when the “masterpiece” was still a shaky shot of a salad bowl — but even that picture told a story. That fascination led me, during my PR studies at the Stuttgart Media University, to a small social-media agency where I learned the basics of the craft before striking out on my own. For the past two years I’ve been drawn to rain-soaked protests, dim punk-rock bars, Michelin-starred restaurants, the European Parliament, and even the gravel car parks behind the scenes at the Cannstatter Wasen fairgrounds. Whatever the day calls for — whether it’s Rosé slushies at the wine festival or the rollout of the new CLA at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Rastatt — I’m up for the job and almost always have an idea for showing it in a fresh, non-boring way. That’s the spirit of “Die Käserei,” the studio I founded with Jonathan Miehlich (production). We want to create projects that break from the usual norms — they should pop, be a bit offbeat, but always courageous. Call it hip, call it funky, or, as we like to say: cheesy in the best sense. If an image sparks the same enthusiasm I felt when hitting the shutter, we’ve done everything right.
