I had no idea that an invite to a fashion show in Milan Italy, where I ran Backstage after the show and snapped a few photos of three of the top models of the world; Linda, Helena, Christy, would become a career signature, and give me the opportunity to shoot more than 5,800 fashion shows Backstage from Milan to Paris, New York, London. A record that is almost impossible to beat, and may not want to try again, has given quite a dynamic insight to fashion, and top models, and the designers who dressed them, and the makeup and hairstyle artists who made them so glamorous! The images on my Instagram page have documented these fashion encounters and have and continue to evolve in style and techniques forming a new fashion art form, #theartofbackstage. A dynamic energy surrounds Backstage, exciting and moving, that I often found myself caught up within it’s grasp, but this energy produces the greatest reactions and unpredictable results full of life. That is what motivated me with each show that passed and I would take these feelings to studio works off seasons. To find the spirit of the model, and the essence of the design, and to mix with the photographers energy and experiences, and form a new and original form of photographic expressions!
