Evelyn Havinga

I am a contemporary fashion and portrait photographer based in the southwest of England. The photographs that I produce are very creative and personal to me. The way I approach my work is that I often source different visual influences from various photographers and other creatives, then create my own interpretation and expression from what I have been inspired by. I've always been interested in breaking down an image to explain the reason or design. I aim to create engaging photographic narratives with each project. I believe visual language is all about individual photographs telling a story within themselves, with the aim that the audience can understand the story in their own way, without the necessary use of accompanying text describing the image. I am happy to offer Pre-production research and conceptualisation of visual ideas as well as both onsite and remote photographic work and digital retouching for clients.
