Luigi Lombardo

I'm Luigi Lombardo, a photographer by profession, based in Milan. My working history takes its first steps in a completely different context, as a waiter, in the noisy restaurants of southern Italy. The experience in catering, which lasted almost ten years, has allowed me to travel, to meet an infinite number of faces, flavors, smells. The human contact, the richness that comes from each new encounter was the best part of my previous career Photography has accompanied me in every moment of my existence, and only a few years ago I finally decided to untie it from the dimension of simple passion in which I had chased it and make it my life. When I finally decided to put down plates and dishes for skiing, my hands free to hold a camera, I knew I could not give up the warmth of people, the thrill of always knowing new ones. So I continue to move between laid tables, between convivial atmospheres that have always been familiar to me, among a thousand new smiles to get to know and stop in time in one click.
