Giovanni G.

Giovanni Giusti is a photographer and visual artist based in Florence, Italy, working across fashion, portraiture, editorial and documentary photography. His practice combines analogue and digital processes, from 35mm to 4×5 large format, with a visual approach focused on people, environments and the subtle relationships between them. Moving between commissioned and personal work, Giovanni is interested in creating images that feel intimate, spontaneous and visually distinctive, while maintaining a strong attention to light, composition and storytelling. His background also includes darkroom printing, photobook-making, exhibition design and artistic direction. From 2023 to 2025, he founded and directed ZERONEGATIVO Festival in Florence. His work has been exhibited at Cortona On The Move, Bibbiena Festival di Fotografia, FIAF Alba, MArteLive – Biennale di Roma, Biennale dei Giovani Fotografi Italiani, Youth III Roma and ZERONEGATIVO Festival. Available for fashion, editorial, portrait and commercial commissions in Italy and internationally.
