I am a documentary maker and professional photographer. I was born in Rome in 1961. Graduated in Literature and Philosophy, I then studied screenwriting at UCLA and obtained a "Certificate in Video and Broadcasting" at NYU From 1988 to 2003 I worked as a television producer and documentary maker for TMC (now La7), Rai Corporation, Rai International, Globalvision and Rossellini & Associati. In 2003 I moved to Kenya where, after having worked as Media and Communication specialist, I founded Canvas Africa Productions, a company focusing on the production of communication campaigns, documentaries and photographic reports on humanitarian projects in Africa implemented by United Nations Agencies and international NGOs. The photographs taken during my assignments in fourteen sub-Saharan African countries have generated numerous exhibitions held in Cultural Institutes, Museums, UN headquarters, art galleries and at the Venice Biennale in 2011. In July 2014 I returned to Rome, where, I founded Rome Photo Fun Tours, a company with which he provides a wide range of photography tours and workshops in the Eternal City for residents and tourists eager to discover and capture the beauty, art and life in Rome by learning or perfecting their photographic skills. Some of my photos are exhibited at the Alidem Gallery in Milan and at ArtID in Lugano.
