I consider myself a student and a passionate about the art of "drawing with light." Photography has always been a key element in my life. I can even say that I have been a photographer since I remember, since my grandfather, who was also a photographer, gave me his 63 Petri and taught me how to work with his Meopta. The analog was my childhood. To photograph Lisbon's streets with my grandfather are my memories. In 2004, while I was in Human Resources Management, I completed my first professional photography course, at the time still analog. In 2016, when I decided to dedicate myself to photography professionally, I successfully completed the Professional Photography Course at Oficina da Imagem, recognized by APPI - Portuguese Association of Image Professionals, where I was rewarded with an honorable mention for my final project course about portraiture. Today, I focus on Portraiture Photography, Photojournalism and Fashion. I consider myself to be a divergent photographer, with experience and knowledge in several ranges of Photography. Fashion and photojournalism are present in my visual identity and in my art, but I also commit myself to spectacle photography, theatre and dance. Shooting sports is also another passion that I dedicate myself as a freelancer. Photographing landscape and street photography are my "visual leaks." Traveling and photographing is my dream! Photography is my profession, it's my hobby, it's a love of a lifetime!
