Creatively known as D. L. Samuels, I possess nine+ (9+) years of experience working consistently as a Freelance Photographer and High-End Retoucher. I always effectively communicate with my clients. whether they are Photographers, Models, Actors, Bloggers, Creative Directors, Designers, Fashion Influencers, E-commerce Businesses, and other Business Owners, to assess their individual retouching needs and bring their vision to reality. I solely use the latest version of Adobe Photoshop CC and Camera RAW and utilize the process of non-destructive retouching methods, such as dodge and burn, to retouch images. I always aim to retouch (edit) images professionally and efficiently without destroying pixels or textures, preserve the natural skin texture of the subjects, remove any distractions in the background or foreground, manage/remove stray hairs, and fill in hair gaps, fix/alter garments, etc. My eye as a Photographer and my experiences help thoroughly when retouching images to ensure it is done with the creative aspect of lighting and angle and expression in mind. My specialties as a Retoucher are mostly Beauty, Portrait, Fashion, and Lifestyle.
