Hello, I'm Iana, Ukrainian photographer based in Los Angeles. Sensuality and femininity were always at the centre of my work, as I was developing my own style and sense of beauty. Gentle colors and vintage style highlight it best. Through the camera lens I try to embrace both romantic mood and cinematic way of storytelling as well as natural beauty and relaxed poses. Most of all I love taking pictures of barefooted women laying around and looking sleepy and bored. Before the shoot, I like to work on moodboards and treatments seeing them as an essential part of a photographic process. Each shoot starts long before the shooting hours from finding the right creative solution and inspiration. My photographic journey started early. I've been interested in fine arts and have attended an Art School since childhood. I got my first camera at age 14 and have been doing photography ever since. I explored different genres and styles before I decided to focus on fashion photography. Eventually I started a career out of it. I have 14 years of professional work experience. Fashion and portrait photography resonate with my vision the most. Recently I've started working with film and creating my Nude Series, which marks a new chapter in my photography.
