Joana is a photographer currently living in Iceland. She was born in 2002 and raised in a small town in Portugal. Inspired by her surroundings and rural isolation, she began taking self-portraits as a teenager.
Photography became a means of reflecting on reality, a way of processing emotions and stages of life through imagery and storytelling.
She now takes the lead as a photo editor and creative director.
