Johanna Lea Lassnig is a photographer and visual storyteller based in Vienna, Austria, working at the intersection of art, culture and music. Her work focuses on creating visual concepts, portraits and photographic narratives that reflect the identity, atmosphere and stories behind artists, creative projects and cultural initiatives. From press photography and artist portraits to album artwork, editorial projects and documentation, she combines a conceptual approach with an attentive, authentic way of working with people. With a background in fine art photography, including studies at the Academy of Applied Photography in Graz and the College for Fine Art Photography & Multimedia Art at Ortweinschule Graz, Johanna develops images that are not only visually compelling but also connected to the ideas and emotions behind each project. Since 2024, she has been working as an independent photographer, creating visual content for artists, cultural organisations and creative projects.
