Subjects of my work balance between body representation, eroticism and nature, with a particular focus on water. Water is imbued with connotations of eroticism and transcendence, and I am happy if I manage to capture it in my work. But I also try to stay open to other meanings and dive even deeper, into exploring water's nature as a physical space. I convey water as a specific zone, alien and uninhabitable to the human body, where peculiar patterns take place: refracted light, encountering internal reflections and immersed in transcendent time. Here space acts as a state of transition, a threshold between bodily fragility and entropy, suggesting amphibious border crossings, and prompting viewer’s reflection on how these two atmospheres have shaped the evolutionary development of the contemporary human form.
