Photography: I am a published photographer and writer and have worked as a photographer in the UK and internationally, including exhibitions, publications and projects in Holland, Armenia, Azerbaijan, India, France, Italy, Canada, Vietnam, Syria, Palestine, China, Japan, Taiwan. My photographic work has included commissioned publications, workshops and the ongoing coverage of major arts and cultural events, including a year-long engagement with the 2012 Cultural Olympiad in the UK. Arts and Cultural Development: CEO and Creative Director of Charnwood Arts. I have developed, managed and/or delivered over 2,000 arts, cultural and heritage projects, workshop programmes, exhibitions, publications, events and consultancy projects with Charnwood Arts since 1991. I was a co-founder and community artist with Rosebery Arts and other organisations setting up community darkrooms and photography projects. I was also a co-founder and co-director of Mailout Magazine (UK’s foremost participatory arts publication). I have also worked in youth work, disability training, industry and alternative educational provision and as a counselor before taking up the position with Charnwood Arts. My academic background is in Fine Art, Counselling and Applied Social Sciences.
