Katherin Wermke

Katherin Wermke is a Barcelona-based corporate photographer and creative director with more than two decades of professional experience. She is the founder of Barcelona Photographer, a B2B photography and video production studio with its own facilities in the heart of Gràcia, where she leads visual projects for companies, agencies and international clients. Her career spans over 22 years working across diverse sectors — industrial, technological, medical, pharmaceutical, design and corporate — creating visual content that strengthens brand identity and communicates the human values behind each organisation. Her work includes corporate portraits, event coverage, product and interior photography, as well as integrated audiovisual services for conferences and large-scale business events. Alongside her commercial practice, Katherin is also a photography and visual communication instructor at Elisava university. Known for her clean aesthetic, attention to detail and ability to translate complex brand narratives into impactful images, Katherin combines technical mastery with sensitivity and a people-focused approach. She also co-founded Photo Utopia, a creative photography studio. Her work philosophy centers on clarity, authenticity and storytelling: creating visual experiences that build trust, elevate brands and leave a lasting impression.
