Kill Switch Auto is a photographer and filmmaker who began his career working with David Lynch in the late 1990's. Striking out on his own in 2000, he went to New York and began shooting fashion photography before reinvestigating his filmmaking roots in 2004. He spent the next 12 years documenting David Lynch in a series of biographical documentaries under the aliases blackANDwhite / Rick Barnes as well as filming and directing the pivotal documentary series about Twin Peaks The Return under his alias Jason S. The success of the films led KSA to Berlin where he now lives and works.
