monika@kossakart.com MONIKA KOSSAK BIO Born in Częstochowa, 10.07. 1981 She studied Photography and Multimedia at UAP, 2005. Photography is a way of expression for me. I believe that an artist's task is to ask difficult questions, to try to convey something of himself to the viewer. Years after graduation, I returned to photography, richer in many experiences. My comeback in photography has been very successful. In 2020, I received 15 awards and distinctions. The year 2021 brought me 28 publications in fashion and art magazines around the world. The artist, Marina Abramović, was the impetus for creating the installation and for going beyond the picture. The world is not a limit for me, I would like my installations and photographs to be exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. I am currently working on several photographic installations. I love to "play" with the form of transforming the obvious into non-obvious images. It gives me great pleasure. My inspirations are such personalities as: Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel, Nick Knight. I am constantly developing, looking for new forms of artistic expression. Currently, at the University of Arts in Poznań, I study intermedia photography, which teaches students, among other things, to go beyond the image and create spatial installations. In the United States, I won the following awards: International Photography Awards (2020) Black & White Spider Awards (2020) Color Awards (2020) In Paris, two silver PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris (2020) medals. In Russia, the 35awards (2020) award. In Paris, 3 ND Awards (2020). In England, Monochromie Photography (2020). London International Creative Competition for the project "get out of the dark" (2020) Fine Art Photography Awards 2 Honors (2020) In Poland, a distinction by the Central Gallery (2020). Gold WORLD'S TOP 10 STILL LIFE PHOTO CONTEST 2020
