Behind the passion and purpose lies the passionate self-taught artist Leonardo Saptouw, who curates a variety of stories through his unique eye, or some would say, lens. Starting his career as an Engineering student soon shifted his gaze to pursue his passion for photography. He specializes as an editorial fashion, beauty, commercial photography as well as retouching and cinematography, whose work transcends boundaries and illuminates the beauty and stories of diversity and culture. Through his unique view to photography and cinematography, Leonardo Saptouw skillfully utilizes color and light to elevate the individuals and groups he captures, resulting in images that are both progressive and authentic. Leonardo's distinct perspective and process sets him apart, Through skillful color manipulation and the infusion of undeniable variety, he effectively communicates the beauty and emotion of his subjects.
