My name is Luigi Licata and I am a wedding photographer. I am pleased that you are interested in my technical and emotional approach. I am also pleased that you are considering me for one of the most beautiful days of your life, letting that I tell it, creating unique pictures. I was born in Palermo in 1986; when I was a child I loved playing with my father's cameras and now that I am grown up, I can "play" with my owns! My first works were at theatre: a piano concert, a dance recital, realised using a black and white film rolls. I can remember the excitement while I was watching the film still wet immediately after its developing and the atmosphere in the dark room during the printing of the photographs. The passion for the photography and a great curiosity tfor the social relationships made me want to improve my studies, my spirit of observation and my aesthetic sense. Then the first marriage .. It was really enlightening. Immediately I have perceived the importance of portraying the bride and the groom with naturalness and simplicity, because I was not there to build fake images but to capture the reality of a day so full of emotions. Then, many years and many marriages later I developed my personal style, defined by my clients contemporary, fresh, modern and with an attention to some details that usually are not considered by the traditional style. I believe that catching a spontaneous smile does not mean giving less attention to family photos or forgetting the traditional photo with the bridesmaids! I love my work, I am always surrounded by happy people. I work hard to ensure that this happiness, which also infects me, is perceived in my shots and makes my clients smile every time they watch the picture, even after many years. I photographer not more than fifty weddings per year, in order to take care of every detail.
