www.sitamaria.com As far as I can remember, photography was something that gave me the feeling of happiness and creativity. The experience I have gained photoshooting remarkable people and travelling to various places, I think there are no words to describe! I studied photography in the Department of Photograph & Audiovisual Arts in (HTEI: Higher Technological Educational Institution) , Athens and continued with my Master’s Degree in Audiovisual, specializing in ‘’ Video Production, Audiovisual & Animated Graphics ‘’ in the West Attica University. Throughout my professional course, I have been able to participate in Photo Exhibitions and Audiovisual Arts Competitions, through which I have been awarded for my creativity. My short film ‘’ The Dominant ‘’, received the Creation Award at the 1st Festival of Photography & Video, in Preveza on 25th of June 2016. At the same Festival, I also received an honorary distinction for my individual photo exhibition with the title ‘’ Escape ‘’. My second short film, titled ‘’ Mind Trap ‘’, was awarded at the competition of ‘’ Hellenic Photography Company ‘’ ( H. P. C ), where I was given two honorary titles : The Silver Award in the Short films Category and the Special Award ‘’ Hermes’’ in all categories. I also participated in the movie ‘’ A job Interview ‘’, which travelled to Cannes in the Short Film Category, ‘’Short Film Corner ‘’. As far as I am concerned, photography is a medium of personal expression, through which I look different instants to illustrate. This searching, made the whole process very interesting because through it I can create and visualize new images.
