Marina Geckeler

I’m a fashion, beauty & commercial photographer with more than 10 years of experience — working on campaigns, editorials, product and fashion shoots across Europe and beyond. At the heart of my work lies a deep curiosity for people and the desire to create images that feel real, free and full of life. I seek authentic, unfiltered moments that allow the viewer to feel connected and present, almost as if they were part of the scene. This approach is rooted in my personal story: growing up with a brother with special needs taught me early on the importance of meeting people with empathy, openness and without judgement. Values that naturally shape how I work and how I see the world through my lens. Empowering others and creating spaces where people can be fully themselves — both in front of and behind the camera — is an essential part of my work and my personality. This also led me to initiate "The Open Space Club" — a community project for creatives to connect and exchange ideas in real life. My images have been published internationally, including in VOGUE, GQ, ELLE, L’OFFICIEL and GRAZIA. I’m based in southern Germany and regularly work between Munich, Barcelona and Cape Town.
