I am passionate about telling stories. From social issues to news to the environment, I meet the people who are integral to a story and enable them to tell their own narratives through my experience. My images have appeared in The New York Times, The Dallas Morning News, The Houston Chronicle, the Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press and others.
I was born and raised in Texas and graduated from the University of Missouri Journalism school in 2012. I studied internationally at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in 2013 earning a Bachelor's Diploma from their program.
In 2017 I was awarded a year-long Fulbright Research Grant to document and photograph urban migrant communities in Mumbai, India. I am based in Texas but travel frequently for work.
