Global campaign photographer & director Maurice Heesen is based in Amsterdam, Barcelona & Dubai. His advertising, lifestyle and portrait work is iconic, yet has a credible rough edge to it. Maurice believes that true perfection needs to be imperfect. To make images believable they need a hint of quirkiness. He is combining film and photography to create work for his national & international clients that has one strong signature through all forms of media.
Maurice is a multi disciplinary creative. He studied graphic design before working as an art director in advertising. This gave him a strong strategic and conceptual base from which he approaches each project. On a six year journey around the world he mastered the art of photography. After buying his first camera in Singapore, almost 20 years ago, there was nothing else he wanted to do. Since then he won numerous international awards.
