Outdoor & Underwater Photographer in Portraits | Lifestyle | Surf | Events Melanie was born and raised in the Rhön, in the German low mountain range. However, she has always felt drawn to the water, the sea and the waves. Creative activities accompanied her from an early age and she started taking her first photos at the age of 12 at the latest. At school, Melanie focused on design and art at the Fachoberschule in Fulda and completed internships with photographers, graphic designers and advertising agencies. In 2014, she began her studies at the University Münster School of Design and decided to emigrate to Portugal after completing her Bachelor of Arts. There she started her own business as a photographer and came closer and closer to her own voice of imagery and the expression given to it. She combines the element of water with idyllic atmospheres and surf, creating a deeper connection with her clients, encouraging them in their self-image and trust in an authentic collaboration. Especially in underwater photography, she invites you to find yourself weightless, elegant, and sensual. She speaks of a feeling of freedom in which one floats but is enveloped at the same time. Melanie photographs her subjects all over Europe and lets the viewer dive into her world of natural imagery. Whether if lifestyle portraits, couple photos, family, newborns, weddings or documenting events or workflows; she will capture these moments for you so that you can always look back on this special moment.
