Hey there, my name is Obinna Okoma. Originally from Eastern Nigeria I am currently living in Flensburg, Germany and work as a freelancer in Video Production, Photo & Video Editing, Motion Graphic Design and Directing. Back in Nigeria, I have worked as a Video Production Specialist (Assistant Director and Editor) in an award-winning production house. I also worked as a freelancer shooting and editing several music videos, feature length films and short video documentaries. When I moved to Germany, I decided to go freelance. So far, I got to work in various Post Production projects. Ranging from simple Text Animations as promotional video ads to TV & social media commercials for a variety of clients, as well as create Spec Ads to push my skill limit. I have had the opportunity to work as a camera assistant on the set of Folk Baltica Festival with one of the finest film production companies in Flensburg, Von Dorsch. Prior to working as a Video Production Specialist, I had a job as a videographer/multimedia specialist at American University where I got to learn about strong documentary style production. I shot, directed and edited promotional videos for international agencies such as USAID, UNHCR, US & Israeli Embassies and the Canadian Funds for local Initiatives - as well as web videos - Especially in times where video is more and more incorporated within web and design elements, I value these experiences very much.
